Art In games - Black and white

An Example of a game that uses the black and white art style is Limbo. This is found on Steam, It is a 2D side scroller game and a puzzle game. The black and white style is used to make the game look and feel a bit more eerie, the primary character in Limbo, or “LIMBO” Is a boy without a name who awakens in a forest, or the “edge of hell.”
Another game that uses black and white is mad world. It also uses red as an effect for blood. Mad World is divided into several levels representing different parts of Jefferson Island that have been converted into sets for the game show "Death Watch". The player progresses through these levels in a linear fashion during the first play through, but can revisit any completed level to attempt to score more points or take on a harder challenge.
